This short instruction will explain issue of fire safety. It is part of the QHSE protocol. Please go through the questions which are supported by the corresponding video on the next page and answer them. After the test you are asked to give your name. Please make sure to fill in your name, this way we can see who filled in the test.

When leaving the building in case of a fire you need of....

My colleagues, I need to save them too

My own safety, that is what is important

My belongings, I will even go back for them If I must

My files, I will make a back up before I leave the building

A fire starts on your department, what do you do?

You leave the building immediately

You stay put, work isn't going to finish itself

You notify your supervisior about the fire

You first warn as many close by colleagues as you can, before leaving the building

What should you do to make an evacuation run smoothly ?

"Leaving the building and going home."

"Following the instructions and wait at the rendezvous."

"Run in the direction that the wind is blowing, don't use the elavator."

"Leave the building as fast as possible, your savety above that of others."

What do you need to keep in mind when using a fire extinguisher?

Open all doors and windows

Point it at the burning object, not the flammes

Put out the flammes with the wind blowing towards you

Make sure that as many people as possible are with you when putting out a fire
