Inviting new people?

I worry about the reality of so many people connecting / fitting into a room / this is the max size I’d feel comfortable in

I’d be more at home leading, sharing, connecting in a smaller group then current, just don’t know how’d we’d happily split the group.

We should be focusing on strengthening the current group before adding more

I love our group and secretly fear a new person will destroy the comfort level

I know how much finding this group meant to me so I’d like our church leaders to know they can direct those with the same need this way

We should be connecting everywhere possible to grow and trust God to take care of the rest

First Thursday of the month small group/ social

I have good reasons why I don’t like this idea

I’m willing to try it but I’m not sold

It’s a change I’m excited about

Deciding small groups (ideally three people)

We should pick names at random

We should pick names at random ( but guys with guys, girls with girls)

We should talk about other ways, people can request, couples stay together?.? ?

How long should we stay in the same small group?

We should be trying for the deepest depth by staying with the same group for 6 months

It takes me time to share and I don’t want to be sharing the same background story every month, 4 months

If it’s the same group for too long I worry about losing connection throughout the larger group. 2mounths is good

I trust others to follow up and encourage me from past prayer request even if we are no longer in the same small group. 1mounth

Deciding that months focus verse

We should pick a verse from the past weeks of study

We should go through a book or website that lists best verses to memorize

Whoever is hosting that week can pick the verse

I never seem to use the additional resources

Social Events

Thursday night is all I have time to commit to

I’m disappointed to lose focus on scripture for the sake of social

I’d like to see more happening outside of Thursday night

I’d like to challenge myself to unofficially connect with people outside of Thursday

Outreach/Community service

I have commitments outside our group and need Thursday night study as support to go outward

I want to be involved through our group and I’m willing to do it other days of the week

I think including a monthly outreach into Thursday night would benefit both group and individual

I’m involved in other things but could do a service project 3 times a year or as one off needs arise.
