AI in fashion industry

Fast Fashion is an industry that has significant impacts on the environment and humans. This modern industry consumes a lot of resources and produces many pollutants. According to Bliss (2019), 'The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTD) considers fashion to be the second most polluting industry in the world, after oil.' Therefore, these polluted wastes and materials that workers in this industry have to come into contact with cause enormous consequences, such as water consumption, plastic pollution, pesticides, toxic dyes, and chemical hazards (Bliss, 2019). We believe that by using the power of AI and machine learning, we can help minimize these destructive effects. By conducting rigorous experiments on the idea of using AI in the fashion industry, formulating numerous assumptions and hypotheses, and ultimately testing them. Extensive research and testing of chemical materials and formulas are necessary to find sustainable materials that will not harm the environment or workers.
