1. I just had surgery on my knee but can get around on crutches. What kind of assistance can I get and who do I need to see? Is it a far walk to the grounds? I have difficulty going down stairs and on surfaces that are not flat. Which response is correct?

The walk time is about 10-15 minutes and we have wheelchair you can use upon arrival.

You can walk since it will only take you 2 mins to reach the luau ground. Waiters will assist you upon arrival.

The hotel does have ADA Carts with a ramp. Upon arriving at the hotel premises please approach the bell staff they can drive you off to the luau grounds. We also do have a wheelchair if ever needed. Luau grounds from the parking is a 5 – 10 minutes walk

2. I see on the menu that you serve pork, fish, chicken and beef. I am pescatarian; can I get my own plated meal or do I need to fight with the table for the fish dish? I do not touch any of the other proteins. Which response is correct?

You need to order it on the luau day and ask the waiter to cook you fish.

Yes, we can request for a pescatarian meal for you and it will be served plated.

Yes, we can also have that included in the menu moving forward.

3. I am coming from Kahana Falls. How far is Sheraton Maui from where we are staying? Which response is correct? (There is no traffic that day)

It will take you a 5 – 7 minutes to drive depending on traffic.

It will take you a 10 – 15 minutes to drive depending on traffic.

It will take you a 30 – 35 minutes to drive depending on traffic.

4. We are a total of 27 Adults and 3 Children. We wanted to book a luau in December. Can I pay 7 Adults and 3 Children for now and pay the rest when we get there? Which response is correct?

Yes, you can pay the rest on the day of the luau.

Yes, we accept partial payments but make sure to pay it a day before the luau.

You can pay 7 Adults and 3 Children for the meantime however balance should be settled 7 days before the luau day. The lead traveler will be responsible for the remaining balance and we will charge the card on file if balance is not settled.

5. I received a call from you guys. I am returning a call regarding table splits. I have total of 11 adults and 4 toddlers total of 15. We split into 10 Adults on first table, 1 Adult and 4 toddlers on the second table. Which response is correct?

Yes, we can allow the 1 adult and 4 toddlers on the second table.

We can only split you to 1st table to 8 adults, and then the rest will be on the second table.

A. Unfortunately we cannot have only 1 Adult and 4 toddlers on the second table. We need at least 2 paying guest per table for proper food portioning. We can do 9 adults on first table, 2 adults 4 toddlers on the second

6. I am coming from Australia. We’ll arrive at Kahului airport around 4:30PM. We’ll get our rental car around 5PM. Do you think I can still book a reservation and come in at Wailea Beach Marriott? Key in your best answer.

Coming from Kahului Airport it may take you 30 – 40 minutes’ drive going to Wailea Beach Marriott. Check in time is from 5PM to 5:30PM. Food service starts around 5:40PM. We do mixed reservation and family style dinner, 1 platter per entree shared by the table. If you can arrive before the dinner that will be perfect.

Coming from Kahului Airport it may take you 5 – 10 minutes’ drive going to Wailea Beach Marriott. Check in time is from 3PM to 3:30PM. Food service starts around 4:40PM. We cater to buffet food and you get to share your table with other guests.

7. I heard your luau has the best performers in town. Can I take a picture with them after the show? Which response is correct?

Yes, you can also ask take pictures automatically after the show. Someone will assist.

We don’t do aloha line with guest after the show however, you can still request to take photos with the cast members. It is optional for our cast because some don’t feel comfortable and some do.

Yes you can take the aloha line and take the picture with them. They are very accommodating.

8. Is UBER available in the island? How much is the rate? Which is the most appropriate response.

Yes, we have it will cost you $50- $75 for the trip to the island.

No, we don't. You will have to get your own ride.

Unfortunately I do not have that information with me. You might want to check with your concierge if they have an idea how much is the rates.

9. I do not want to be seated with someone else in our table. We have 2 Adults and 3 Children. How can I get a private table in Wailea Beach Marriott luau? Which is the most appropriate response?

We do not allow reservations for private tables. You need to seat with the rest of the group since we are only allowing 10 persons per table.

You can have a private table for as long as you are 10 in the reservation.

Our tables can accommodate maximum of 10. In order for you to get a private table, you need to pay the remaining seats at full adult price.

10. We were at the Sheraton Maui Luau last night and I left our Family Picture at our table. Is there a way to get it back or how can I get a copy of it? Which is the most appropriate response?

We can just send you another copy so you won't have to go back.

Yes, you can go back and ask for assistance to anyone at the luau grounds.

First you might want to contact Sheraton Maui Hotel – 808-661-0031 and ask to be connected to the lost and found department. They might have kept your family picture last night? Or you can also contact Hopcing – 808-344-3699 and inquire on how to get a copy.
