CA Ministry Fair 2023

First Impressions - Greeters, Parking Lot, Ushers, and Connect Center are all part of this ministry. Currently, we are in need of smiling faces and Door Ushers.

 

CA Ladies Ministry (CALM) - We currently have two Bible studies a year. We usually attend a conference once a year. It would be great if we could have someone planning outings such as shopping trips, gatherings, & events. We want to encourage women of all ages, races, single/married/divorced to be the woman God has created them to be.

 

CA Men's Ministry - CA Men's Ministry is a fellowship of men who meet to encourage and pray for one another. We usually meet for breakfast on the forth Saturday of each month. We also want to make ourselves available to serve our local body when needed.

 

CA Backstage - CA Backstage is a group of dedicated volunteers who use their technical skills to worship God and help share HIS word. Using technology, we are able to amplify the worship service. Audio, Visuals, Lighting, and so much more are the backstage components to a complete Sunday morning experience. We are conduits for Christ, using our technical abilities to get HIS message to all! CA Backstage is a fun, challenging, and rewarding ministry for anyone interested in technology.

 

Although CA Backstage covers all needs that have to do with audio, visual, and other technologies, the most requested and needed functions of the team include:

- Broadcasting live audio and video to the Internet.

- Recording audio and video during regular church services and special events.

- Maintaining the church's social media, Website, and online presence to both share information on events and to perform outreach to those outside the church.

- Assisting with, and maintaining, the church's telecommunications infrastructure, including network devices, Wi-Fi, security cameras, etc.

 

From mixing audio during service to installing security cameras, CA Backstage helps with all things technology for Christian Assembly.

 

CA Youth - We are in need of technicians for sound and video/computer. We are also looking for people to help prepare meals for Wednesday nights (on a rotation)

 

Grounded - Responsible for landscaping maintenance directly around the building to showcase its beauty. We welcome volunteers when the needs arises for shrub/bush trimming, clean up and adding/removing plants when the time comes. To see great landscaping will create an inviting atmosphere to our church, to welcome new members, and create lasting friendships. We look forward to your helping hands in Grounded.

 

CA Young Adults - We meet once a month to connect and hang out. We will be taking the summer off and will meet again in August.

 

CA Worship - The Christian Assembly Worship Team is a ministry that invites individuals with musical and technical talents to use them for the glory God. It emphasizes the simplicity and accesibility of worhisp while requiring a high level of commitment. The team values spiritual and muiscal preperation, active church attendance, a positive attitude, punctuality, and felxibility. The weekly schedule includes Sunday morning practices and services, Wednesday evening practices and worship, and occasional Sunday evening services. Overall, the worship team offers an opportunity to serve and lead others in heartfelt worship within our church community.

 

CA Kids - In Children’s ministry, we need teachers and helpers on Wednesday nights, and teachers and helpers on Sunday morning preschool. "

 

CA Intercessory Prayer - We meet every 2nd & 4th Sunday in the multipurpose room in the hallway near the offices. Please join us. We'd love to have you.
