Our country faces a lot of problems all of these problems are grouped in 11 Egypt grand challenges, one of the problems that threaten Egypt is pollution of all kinds' especially water pollution. In these years we should seek to find solutions of this problem. Micro plastic in water is one of these types of pollution which attracted the attention of researchers during last centuries. Our challenge is removing micro plastics water. After searching about the risks of micro plastic it was decided to make a filter to make water purification as the normal filter with 7 stages with a new stage which is removing microplastics.

The water pollution in Egypt has spread enormously spread lately, our idea based on removing microplastic from the water. As a result, harvesting micro plastic from the water can be a highly efficient solution for this problem. We made a water filter relies on employing a layers of silk and pellon to remove microplastics, then putting above them hollow fiber membrane which can remove very tiny impurities and the color. Then, Extruded activated carbon that absorbs the impurities for its extremely porous structure that allows it to effectively capture and hold materials, the last one is granular activated Carbon that is used to remove undesirable components in water and any unwanted smell. This idea will make the seven stage filter of water and the new stage which it removing the microplastic in one stage.
