On May 6th, BTG announced its acquisition of Galil Medical

Galil Medical is a leader in cryoablation. They focus on cryoablation systems and needles to treat caners in kidneys.

The systems use compressed argon gas to produce extremely low temperatures to form ice balls at the tip of the needles. The ice ball engulfs the tumour and destroys the tissue without damaging the adjacent tissue.

In mid April, Twitter exploded with news that X nearly overdosed on the painkiller drug called Percocet.

However, a week later, emergency responders found X unresponsive in an elevator and performed CPR. But they were not able to revive him. He had been dead for about six hours.

Rumors were quick to attribute an overdose of Percocet as the cause of death, but post-mortem toxicology reports showed that X died due to an overdose of Fentanyl - a very powerful painkiller.

Fentanyl is approximately 80 to 100 times more potent than morphine and roughly 40 to 50 times more potent than pure heroin.

Along with Jimmy Hendrix, Elvis Presley, Heath Ledger, Marilyn Monroe and countless others, X’s name was sadly added to the list of extremely talented people who died due to drug overdoses.

The British army has long used Lariam tablets as the drug of choice for soldiers deployed in certain parts of the world where they may be at risk from X.

But in May 2016, a committee of MPs concluded that it should only be a “drug of last resort” after an investigation revealed the severe side effects of the drug, including psychosis, depression, nightmares and anxiety leading to suicidal thoughts.
