You sigh, even though you comprehend the situation there's really nothing you can do about it so it's better to just move a long. There are better things to do with your life than mope around.

You begin to wonder if there's anything you could ever do to make things better, you draw the pain and grief into yourself as you process the news, you begin to feel helpless and you know it's reactionary and bad for yourself.

You've been through quite a bit in your life that hasn't turned out well so you're cynical about the human nature at times. You take in the information given by the news, if it's going to directly affect you or people around you, you'll be prepared.
