Changing PTC from Nov to December for more data to assess students on for report cards

PD Time- Keep as is: Mondays 7am Start- and Tuesdays 7:20am Start.

PD Time- Revert back to old contract time: Mondays- 230pm-3:30pm and Tuesdays 2:30pm- 3:10pm : After school wouldn't be an option on these days.

Reconfigure the May "Conference" to something like: Multicultural Celebration, Science Fair, Music Performance or Teachers meet with incoming students to go over expectations for upcoming year.

Common Planning Period for Classroom Teachers: In a 7 period a day Elementary school the teacher program consists of 25 teaching periods, five 45-minute preparation periods, five 50-minute duty-free lunch periods . Common Panning will be used for the following: using the time soley to work on grade specific action items: ie: planning weekly lessons, field trips, curriculum maps. Common planning shall not require teachers to create excessive paperwork, duplicative work or require work outside of the common planning period.
