I would prefer our BWCA canoe trip is
August 7-14, 2021
August 14-21, 2021
I cannot attend either date - do not answer the rest of the questions if you cannot attend.
I can meet you in Ely, MN after your canoe trip on Aug. 11 or 18th to hang out for 3 days
I understand that this trip involves hard work for periods of time without complaining and that to get to our first campsite, we may have to canoe for 5 hours and carry equipment over portages ranging from a few yards to 470 yards while it is possibly windy or raining. Day 1 (Sunday) and Day 4 (Wednesday) will involve a lot of canoeing. Days 2 and 3 will be more leisurely and will involve canoeing to a waterfall, hiking trail or fishing spot and swimming or exploring.

I didn't know that but I am up for the challenge
I will most likely arrive
By plane into Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP)
By plane into Duluth International Airport (DLH)
By car and am willing to pick up relatives at one of these airports
By car and am not willing to pick up relatives
I am okay with using a bathroom that is just a non-flushable toilet in the woods and does have toilet paper. I also understand that there is most likely no cell phone reception in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area so I will not be able to communicate with my friends for 4 days.

After this canoe adventure we will hang out the Ely area for 2 1/2 more days. What type of accomadations would you prefer?
2 log homes that are 7 miles out of town on lakes but are pretty nice and where we can be a little noisy without getting into trouble (VRBO #97499 and #4250842ha)
A place right in Ely that is not as nice but would allow us to walk around to shops, restaurants, the International Wolf Center, etc.
I can't stay longer than Wednesday and will need to leave then.
I am okay with sleeping in a tent with possibly 5 other relatives of the same gender.

I am would rather pay extra for a private hotel type room even if that means the group is spread out.
The Boundary Waters allows us to have groups of 9 people maximum. We plan to have 2 groups of 9 people. If more than 18 people want to participate in this trip, why should we let you go instead of someone else?
I am dying to go
I want to go very much
I have skills such as cooking, fire building, navigating that the group will need.
I am willing to be the leader of one of the groups because I have a lot of wilderness experience
I don't want to go that badly, but would like to go if there is room for me.
I would rather meet up with all of you in Ely after the canoeing portion of the trip.

I understand that if I cancel at the last minute, I may need to pay a portion of the costs of the trip that are not refundable.

I realize that if more than 18 people want to attend, all of the older generation can attend, but names will be drawn by lottery for the younger generation. I assume Audrey gets to go no matter what because this is her vacation with her dad.
