The DMO sends out the "local market survey" to re-asses the monthly living allowance based on volunteer reports of the cost of items at their site. 75% of volunteers must complete the survey to trigger a re-assessment. If the data reflects a decrease in the cost of living, monthly allowances could be decreased.
