List what you think is needed most to support the growth of the Canadian hydrogen sector?
What is your state of knowledge and engagement in hydrogen? Is your organization already involved in this area? In what capacity?
Is the use of hydrogen (and its derivatives) a short, medium or long term priority for your organization?
Describe your organization’s overall interest in participating in the Ports and Marine Working group, in the context of implementing Canada’s Hydrogen Strategy
Canada is positioning itself to be a leading exporter of clean hydrogen and ammonia, to global markets. How do you see your organization’s involvement, if any, in Canada’s hydrogen export plans? Are there existing applications in marine and port facilities that can be proliferated? What do you see as the biggest challenges for readying ports for Canada’s hydrogen export market?
Hydrogen applications in marine and port operations are gaining recognition. Hydrogen is an important decarboniazation pathway for the transportation sector, and ports are a key location to demonstrate hydrogen solutions. Demonstration projects offer a proof of concept for hydrogen energy and related technologies capable of advancing multiple objectives. If possible, what (ready to deploy) applications would your organization like to see demonstrated?
Do you currently have any hydrogen pilots or demonstration projects underway? If so, please provide a brief description
What knowledge gaps need to be addressed to allow for greater uptake?  (e.g. Research proposals, best practices, funding mechanisms, capacity/technology constraints, international cooperation)
Would you find the following of value and to what extent? Focused Working Groups, Communities of practice, knowledge/clearing house, other?
Please rank each of the below focus areas according to their effectiveness and important for your organization, and in the context of Canada's Hydrogen Strategy
Regional demand projects (ex Port of Baie-Comeau and Hy2Gen H2 production project)
International cooperation, foreign direct investment attraction, offtake
Regulations codes and standards
Infrastructure development (e.g. supply, storage, bunkering, fueling, etc.)
Formation of hydrogen clusters/HUB/valley (convergence of stakeholders)
Fleet replacement
Demonstration projects
Port operations and machinery
