Hemorrhage is losing a large amount of blood in long time

Bleeding is rapid blood loss of at least 1 pint which can lead to shock and death

External bleeding is more dangerous than internal as it can lead to infection

Hemophilic or bleeder is caused by congenital abnormality

First aid is enough for hemophilic person

Apply direct uninterrupted pressure to control bleeding

If the dressing you use for the pressure is full with blood you have to change it with a clean one to prevent infection

The bandage should not be too tight nor to loose

Apply bandage directly to the bleeding point to control bleeding

Blood pressure cuff can be used to control bleeding from 10-20 mm hg above diastolic pressure

Cerebrospinal fluid is a sign for skull fracture

Never do compression on a bleeding tongue

Apply direct uninterrupted pressure to the center of the wound of a skull fracture

If a bleeding victim start to vomit put him is recovery position unless he have a spinal injury

Bleeding form the nose with cerebrospinal fluid doesn't mean it's a cerebral bleeding

If there is a cerebral bleeding from the nose you have to stop the flow of blood to prevent shock

The dressing in cerebral bleeding is used to absorb the blood not to stop bleeding

Position a nose bleeding victim in setting position

In cardiogenic shock the vessels do not work perfectly as a pipe

Anaphylactic shock is due to allergic reaction

Anaphylactic shock is not a life-threatening condition

Use dexamethasone to treat anaphylactic shock

Vasovagal attack is due to parasympathetic over stimulation

Septic shock is the most dangerous type of shock as it can lead to septicemia

Sympathetic over activity neurogenic shock is due to stimulation of the vagus nerve

Hypovolemic shock is due to bleeding only

Do not give anything by mouth to a shock victim

Use morphine in shock due to burn

Perfusion triangle is : heart, lung and blood

Dehydration can lead to neurogenic shock
