What is Fair Use?
In accordance with the rules or standards; legitimate.
(in US copyright law) the doctrine that brief excerpts of copyright material may, under certain circumstances, be quoted verbatim for purposes such as criticism, news reporting, teaching, and research, without the need for permission from or payment to the copyright holder.
What does it mean when something is Royalty Free?
It means that something does not have a free royalty.
Royalty Free (hereafter, RF) means that after the initial permission is secured, usually through money, additional uses can be made without payment. RF is multiple use free of royalties.
What is the Public Domain?
The state of belonging or being available to the public as a whole, and therefore not subject to copyright.
