Why did you move abroad ? ( because of studying/ vision of a better job, I was offered to do so by my employer etc.)

Did the reality match your expectations? If no, what was the bigger surprise? E.g the language wasn't as easy as I thought, locals weren't friendly as they are said to be, get a job is difficult etc.
