2020 Gridiron Beasts
VOTE 02 - IR for COVID:
We add +3 IR spots in 2020. Can only be used for players who are ineligible to play because of COVID. IR spots go away in 2021.
No change. No IR spots dedicated to COVID.
Lose Kicker position and add 1 more W/R/T spot for 2020. Assess at the end of the season if we want to keep or bring kickers back in 2021.
Lose the kicker position all together and add +1 bench spot instead to reflect the 17 man roster.

We lose TE only slot and replace with W/T which gives greater flexibility there. Assess end of season for 2021
We lose TE only slot and replace with +1 bench. Bring back in 2021

In addition to anything voted on above, we add +1 Bench spot for 2020, bringing our bench to +8 (+9 or +10 if Vote 03b & 04b go through).

If the NFL cancels mid-season, we return all money except for any Highest Week Totals won prior to the cancellation. That total will be divided between all 10 of us. (i.e.- if we make it 5 weeks @ $15 p/w, total of $75 payout, each of us would pay $7.50 of the $50 dues).
If they cancel after our regular season but during playoffs, we pay out every category that has qualified and return the money that hasn’t (i.e- cancel in week 15, we pay out all regular season categories and worst record/fewest points.. We return the money for playoffs) Whoever has the best regular season record (tie breaker Pts for) would be declared the 2020 Champion. No money for that, but the trophy and glory.

High Single Week Total ($25): Highest single week total at time of cancel
Longest Win Streak ($30): Longest winning streak at time of cancel
High Cumulative Point Total ($30): Highest Cum Pt Total at time of cancel
Fewest Points (-$15): Fewest Points at time of cancel
Worst Record (-$15): Worst Record at time of cancel

During 2020, something unprecedented may happen. An NFL team may have to forfeit a game due to COVID. That would affect all potential players from 2 teams. NFL rules state the opposing team would automatically win 2-0. If that is the case and you have starting players who lock then don’t play, or if an individual player is scratched after lock due to COVID, we may want a contingency plan.
Option "Swap In”: If players don’t play due to COVID AFTER they lock for the week in a starting lineup, they will be replaced with the highest projected bench player that can fill that spot. If you don’t have a bench player that can fill that spot (i.e- QB) then we will try to manually move your player to IR so you can grab a last minute replacement off waivers. No promises on the second part. Contingent on quickly communicating with the Commish during the game slot when that player should be playing and what yahoo allows us to do.
