About our family: We are a family of 4 who live in Boulder, Colorado. We have a 3 1/2 year old and a 1 year old. My husband is a doctor and I am a stay at home mom. We have a small dog and live in a neighborhood of the city. We are within walking distance of a shopping center, parks and a bike path. We are 10 minutes by bus from downtown Boulder and 40 minutes by bus from downtown Denver. We keep a very clean and organized house. We enjoy family meals, walks to local playgrounds and reading and playing with the kids.

We want someone who can go with the flow and will enjoy and maybe even love our kids. Be happy and engaged and present. We'd like to share family meals but also respect your privacy and free time. Being able to work 40 hours per week and early mornings on school days is important. There would be an occasional weekend 1/2 day if my husband has to work, but it is rare. We also want to support your travel, adventure and goals so clear communication is important.

Our work and school schedule changes each week but we can usually plan a few weeks ahead. Overall, the schedule starting mid-August when the boys are in school would be Monday/Wednesday/Friday 6:30 am - 9am and 1pm-6pm. Tuesday 6:30am-1pm and 4-6pm. Thursday 6:30am-11 and 2-6pm. Sometimes we would would appreciate a date night on a Friday evening or Saturday but will not exceed a total of 45 hours per week. Sometimes you will have a day off during the week as well as the weekend.

We are a family who is looking for someone to help with our two children but also be involved in our lives. What types of activities would you like to do when off duty? What are your hobbies? What do you do in your free time at home?

We live near The Rocky Mountains in Colorado State, USA. We are not near the ocean but are close to many beautiful hikes, sunsets, trails and lots of nature. We have beautiful summers and snow in the winter! What is something you are looking forward to seeing while you are in America?

Are you clean and organized and willing to keep after our children’s laundry, toys, basic clean up?

House Rules: (1) Keep the kids safe (2) We do not turn on the TV in our home for more than an hour during the daytime (3) We do not want lots of cellphone use when you are on duty with the baby unless in an emergency or to communicate with us parents. This is very important to us. Are you comfortable with this house rule? (4) Must be covid vaccinated and safe. (5) Take off shoes in garage. (6) Be responsible for your own laundry and keeping your room clean. The house is professionally cleaned every two weeks but you are responsible for washing your sheets, towels, vacuuming your room each week.

We will not have a car for you, but will provide a monthly transportation budget to use for the bus, uber, buy a bike.
