Feb 8 Rakesh bought goods from Soham for Rs.5,000 June 8 2020 Soham drew a three-month bill on Rakesh , who accepted it and returned it to Soham. Soham immediately got the bill discounted with Metropolitan Bank Ltd. at 10% p.a. However, on the due date, Rakesh dishonored the bill and the bank paid Rs.100 for noting charges.

Sold investment costing 5000 for 7500 against a cheque

April 11-Received from an outstation customer a net amount by a cheque of rs.14630 after allowing 5% discount. The cheque was deposited into the bank on 12th April. The bank debited rs.25 as collection charges
