We are developing a bracelet mechanism worn to help protect the user during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this bracelet is to alert the user when they become too close to others. In accordance with social distancing recommendations, the band will project red flashing lights whenever the user is within 6 feet of another person. The bracelet will flash green light while 7 feet away from a person, and project no light while further than 7 feet away, communicating to the wearer that they are in a safe area.
