V2_ 40 Years Survey: The Most Iconic Works
On September 4, 2021 V2_ turns 40. To celebrate 40 years of explorations in art, media and technology, we will embark on a year-long archival and curatorial research of some of the most iconic presentations, publications and presentations from these 40 years.
You are invited to help us choose these most iconic works from the thousands of artworks, events and texts in our online archive. By casting your vote on your personal favorites through the online survey before September 3, 21.00h (CEST), you can contribute to our research.
This survey takes about 10 minutes, depending on how deeply you want to get involved. The works are grouped into 5 year periods: please select 1-3 projects from each period. You can click the titles of each work for more information from the V2_Archive.
A slideshow with images and videos from the 40 works most often selected will be presented on our website and at our venue from September 4 on, to celebrate V2_’s anniversary and to kick of a year-long research into the backgrounds to, artists behind and current-day relevance of the most iconic works from 40 years of V2_.
