WHAT TYPE OF EATER ARE YOU?

Most often, I eat when
A. The clock reaches a certain time or when I'm hungry
B. I have spare time to put food in my body
C. There is food in front of me
D. The clock reaches a certain time or my eating plan allows
E. When I am really happy, sad, angry or bored
F. When I'm hungry or when I know I'm about to be hungry
Most often, I choose food based on
A. The nutritional content and purity of the food
B. Whatever food is quick and easy to eat during a break
C. Whatever everyone else wants to eat, or what's available
D. Whether the food is healthy and/or is allowed on my diet
E. How good it tastes, or how much pleasure it will give me
F. Flavor (what I'm craving), nutritional quality or how it will make me feel, and how filling it will be.
While eating, I tend to
A. Think about the nutritional quality of my food, taking my time to eat slowly
B. Be multitasking, reading my emails, feeding a toddler, etc., usually eating quickly.
C. Zone out from my surroundings, eating rather quickly
D. Think about my next meal or count my calories, macros, or points.
E. Be watching a movie, reading on my phone, or eat in private while I'm upset
F. Savor my food and enjoy conversation if it is available. I am aware and often eat at a moderate speed.
I believe food is
A. Either good or bad. It's fuel that helps or harms us.
B. Just another necessary part of my day. Food is mainly fuel to survive
C. Delicious and mostly good, but hard to keep in check if I don't pay attention
D. Complicated. It's something that I know I need and I think can help me lose or gain weight, but I feel like I'm constantly on a roller coaster of overeating and dieting
E. Mostly good or bad and something that can help me with strong emotions.
F. Neither good nor bad, food is for energy, enjoyment, nutrition and connection.
Most of the time, I stop eating when
A. I am no longer hungry or 80% full, or there is no more healthy food available
B. Meal time runs out, or I get distracted by the next task
C. All the food is gone from the table or meal
D. My calories, points, macros or portion runs out
E. When I no longer feel sad, happy, stressed or angry
F. When I am full and satisfied, sometimes that's when my plate is clean, sometimes it means going for seconds and sometimes it's before my plate is clean.
When it comes to food, I often feel
A. Proud of my choices. Eating healthy is a high value of mine. Although sometimes I feel guilty or mad at myself or others when I have had to compromise my healthy eating values
B. Like I am just eating to survive. I feel I have no time to care too much about what I'm eating.
C. Like I should pay more attention at meal times. I feel I am unconsciously eating whatever is in front of me, and often can't remember what I ate during the day.
D. Stressed or guilty about eating or not eating the right foods. Sometimes I feel hopeful for how managing my food might change my body, other times I feel fearful of gaining weight because of how I've eaten.
E. That it is my main coping mechanism. I am terrified someone might put me on a diet or take away my only way to feel good: eating.
F. Peaceful and free to eat a variety of foods and enjoy them without obsession.
My favorite foods are
A. Almost all very healthy foods
B. Foods that I can eat quickly and taste good
C. I'm not sure, I like a lot of food, I'm not picky
D. I don't know off the top of my head, but they're likely all bad foods
E. Any food that I can eat mindlessly and enjoy, sweets, chips, popcorn, you name it.
F. Foods that taste delicious, have good memories attached to them, or make me feel good physically
