What's Your Dominant Business Owner Personality?
You are going over the project details for a new client. After reviewing the statement of work and client requests you:

It will take more time to explain what needs to be done, so you do it yourself until you have time to train your new assistant.
You have well documented processes and systems, so after a brief orientation your assistant can get started with help from you as needed.

When it comes to getting things done in my business
I have a team in place that handles the day to day operations so that I can focus on strategy and growth
I enjoy the doing most of the work myself because I’m really good at it
I like creating and documenting systems so that I can delegate to others while overseeing the work
When it comes to setting goals for my business
I have a clear vision of where I want to be in the next 5 to 10 years
I decide what needs to be accomplished in the next 30 to 90 days and create a project plan and timeline to make sure it gets done
I work on what needs to be done now and make sure I keep an eye on the pipeline to avoid falling behind
With regard to management and operations tasks
I generally spend most of my time on the work that needs to done and less time on accounting, marketing, and administrative tasks
I have systems in place to automate accounting, marketing, and administrative tasks so that I can easily delegate or outsource
I meet with my team a few times a year for planning and strategy, then trust them to handle accounting, marketing, and administrative tasks
When it comes to hiring others to help in my business
I don’t have time to train anyone. Or, I expect people to be able to carry out tasks with little guidance or supervision for me.
I have established process and systems with checks and balances in place to help ensure quality standards.
I have a team of highly qualified managers who I meet with regularly. They keep my business running as well as I would while I focus on growth
