Who are you in the zombie apocalypse?

Breaking news -- the zombie apocalypse has begun. What's the first thing you do?

Look to the news/online/others for answers.

I've thought out this hypothetical before. Pack a go bag and get my people ready.

I've been waiting for this. Go to my bunker, finally.

Time to create some chaos. This new world will be yours.

Panic.

First place you go?

Supply store e.g. fuel, supermarket, pharmacy.

Someplace remote e.g. A farm.

Rendezvous with allies e.g. family/friends.

First hiding place you find.

You don't leave where you are.

Choice of weapon?

Blunt weapon e.g. bat, hammer.

Pointed weapon e.g. machete, dagger.

Ranged weapon e.g. crossbow, gun.

Conflict negotiation.

Improv. The world is your weapon.

You come across a family who ask you for help. One is elderly and frail, the other two seem pretty mobile but panicked.

Leave them.

Check them for infection, then let them join you.

Give them supplies and send them away.

Help them, knowing the risk.

The younger ones can join.

How do you manage your resources?

I restock my supply often, the risk is necessary.

It's too risky to go out often, I'm surviving but my resources are dwindling.

I'm relying on learning new skills that don't require urban resupplies e.g. foraging.

There's too many zombies outside and I'm starving.

Live off other communities/survivors who've taken the risk.

How do you sleep?

Guarded, haven't slept properly and am exhausted.

Naps here and there, I'm drained.

If they get me, they get me. I'm alert when I'm awake.

I would be with people and we switch shifts. Hope I can trust them.

A hostile survivor threatens you.

Fight back - life or death.

Try to peacefully resolve the conflict.

Give up your resources.

Ready your weapon and wait.

You and others are being chased. It's bad.

Trip a sacrificial lamb.

Sacrifice yourself for the others.

Try your best to run knowing it's futile.

Try a strategic maneuver with low chance of success, but if it works everyone survives.

Abandoned urban dwelling.

Tent -- set up where I can and stay mobile.

Bunker.

Rural area.
