Studio Ghibli Event Outreach

Hi, do you know what Studio Ghibli is?

If you don't know, Studio Ghibli is a Japanese animation studio known for it's beautiful and high-quality artistry. You may be familiar with some movies. Do any of these sound familiar to you?

Some of us in Twin Falls, ID would like to plan a Studio Ghibli weekend at a local theatre, complete with movies, games, contests, and trivia. Does this sound interesting to you?

The following questions are to understand if we would have an audience who would be interested in participating in such an event. This event is not yet absolute, and everything mentioned is a possibility IF an event were to happen.

If we were to do something like this, would you be an audience member, a participant in the games/trivia competition, or wear a costume? Yes, you can be multiple.

Games, contests, and the trivia competition would provide prizes to winners. And while the games and costume contest would be free to be a part of, we may have to charge for participation in the trivia competition.

If you so chose to participate, would you be willing to pay to be part of the trivia competition?

For tickets to purchase for this event, which of the following do you think should be available?

The plan for this event would be a two-day weekend with the theatre, where we would show multiple movies and have games throughout. Schedules and prices to be solidified based on the venue and response to the potential event.

Would you be willing to help spread the word?

Where and how should we advertise this event for others to see?

While we have ideas of movies to show, there is one movie slot we wouldn't know what to show. Which movie from the list would you choose to watch?

Is there anything else you would expect to see at this kind of event, including concessions, game types, and venue expectations?
