Thumb sucking is a common habit among children aged 3-11, but if left unchecked, it can lead to various dental issues such as open bite, overjet, and malocclusion. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of orthodontic appliances versus aversion therapy in reducing the pathophysiologies of thumb sucking in this age group. The findings of this research have the potential to guide clinicians in choosing the most effective treatment method for addressing the dental consequences of thumb sucking in children.

Thank you once again for your time and support.
