Parent Mindset

(This year the race format is very different.)

1. It will not be a social event do to Covid.

2. Each start wave will be much smaller because they will be made up of only a couple teams at a time.

3. Parents will not be aloud to "hang out", racer must show up race then leave asap.

4. Racers must keep social distancing, even at start line.

5. Racers must wear masks when not pedaling.

6. The races can be far so this non-social format may not live up to previous years and could discourage new riders from wanting to race again next year.

7. There is a registartion fee (as in the past) for each race.

My fear is the new format, with its cost and time commitment will sour the experiance and newbies may not want to return next year. I want to determine if this is a concern shared by others.

I just want my racer to enjoy team practice rides and some local team fun events

I understand the race format is very different this year but still want to participate in league races
