If you are the guest, you should not order the most expensive item on the menu unless it is suggested by your host.

It there are two forks on the table, you should start using the fork nearest to your plate first.

In order to signal to the waiter that you have finished your meal, place the fork and knife back on the table where they were before.

Your water and wine glasses are located toward the left of your plate.

You should always pass both the salt and pepper even if only one is asked for.

After eating, place napkin on your plate.

The bread plate and knife are located to the right of your place setting.

Food dishes are offered to the left and then passed to the right.
