What should you do if Ahmed throws the iPad, during trade -in?

Call for staff to assist with problem behavior.

Immediately present any work (GMI's, social questions,etc.) and reinforce with checks.

Terminate trade-in, wait until 10 s calm, resume work schedule.

Remain calm, but it's fine if you roll your eyes and state to yourself, "really, you just earned iPad and now you throw it"

What should you do if Ahmed finished his work schedule, but did not earn his 20 checks for iPad?

Do a few quick GMI;s for him to earn his 20 checks to get iPad.

Give Ahmed the iPad as he has earned trade -in.

Continue presenting work, as Ahmed will work until he earns 20 checks, rather than trading in with items other than the iPad.

Present other preferred activities (playground, play dough, mobility room, bubbles), for Ahmed to engage in. Continue rewarding checks for appropriate play. If Ahmed earns 20 checks while trading in imminently present the iPad, if Ahmed finished trade in and has still not earned 20 checks, return to work.
