The meeting prepares us to hit our goals (discuss new quality events, get a deviation #, discuss containment actions for new events, complete classifications and deviations on time).

2. The appropriate people are invited to the meeting ( QA reviewers, Deviation Owners, Site leader for the deviation owner group, QA operations for batch release).

For new quality event discussions, SMEs provide enough information (facts) and impacted lots to determine whether the event is a deviation or not.

Meeting format: It’s helpful to define action items then give updates on the action items at the triage meeting

Meeting format: I prefer to provide a color based on the status of the deviation, give a brief update (as needed) and only discuss items that don’t have an action plan or need discussion/escalation (amber/red)

The meeting gives me visibility to upcoming and overdue deviations which allows me to plan my work.
