I absorb other people's emotions easily. When I am in a crowd I am very aware of who I'm around and how they feel.

I have difficulty identifying my own thoughts, feelings, and emotions but I am great at identifying the thoughts, feelings, and emotions of others.

I struggle to set and/or keep boundaries with others.

Other people dictate how I feel about myself. If someone is upset with me, it must be (or usually is) because of me.

Most of my relationships are founded on my ability to fix, help or serve the other person.

I feel like if I wasn't always doing something for others, they wouldn't have an interest in being my friend or dating me. I need to be needed for my relationships to work.

I struggle with obsessive behavior. For example, if someone is upset with me I can't stop thinking about it until I fix it or there is some type of resolution.

I struggle with compulsive behavior. For example, I put my partner through a series of secret "tests" to see if they will leave or not.

As much as I don't want to admit it, I get a feeling of excitement from having more dramatic relationships in my life.

Sometimes I isolate myself due to being afraid of other people.

It isn't safe for me to feel my emotions. I often deny, suppress, and avoid negative feelings.

I resent or frequently have issues with authority figures in my life

I spend a lot of time trying to escape my mind or being in my body.

When someone comes to me feeling upset, I am quick to give them advice and provide a solution, even if they don't ask me for it.

When I have an opinion or idea to share, but I know someone else would disagree, I will withhold it as to not upset the other person.

I struggle with anxious feelings and thoughts, especially pertaining to situations involving other people.

I have a hard time knowing what I want and an even harder time expressing that to others.

I often procrastinate because I want to make sure everything is just right before I take action.

An equal relationship seems unrealistic and sometimes impossible for me. If I find people who check most of my boxes, I think that's "good enough" and wonder if my standards are just too high. I stay even though it's not what I truly want.

I will avoid intimate relationships with others even though it's what I want the most.

I can be a bit of a people-pleaser

Other people refer to me as a perfectionist or "Type-A" personality. It's important for me to be in control.

It's hard for me to enjoy where I am. I often feel like I need to be busy or doing something.

When I'm relaxed and not busy, anxious or worried I feel like something is wrong. Did I forget to do something?

I have to be loyal to those around me, no matter how they treat me, because I love them and that's what you do for people you love.

I am afraid of change and how that could impact my relationships, so much so that I will continue with a life that doesn't fulfill me.

I value other people's opinions or ways of doing things more than my own.

I spend my time trying to make others feel good so that I can feel good.

I wonder if god or the universe doesn't want me to find love which is why my relationships are so challenging.

I don't know what "normal" is. I doubt my own feelings, perceptions or beliefs often.

I don't expect other people to fit my needs or go out of their way to help me.

I tell others how they "should" think or "should" feel out of love and because I have their best interests at heart.

I take pride in being self-sufficient. I rarely, if ever, need someone else's help.

My life is meaningful because of who I serve, how well I fix problems and/or how effectively I help those around me.
