Bibliotherapy is keeping your mental health healthy by reading books (fictional or autobiographical). Reading fiction is one of the easiest ways to relate to others when we feel isolated. Also, as we get to know characters, we get to know ourselves. You don’t have to have everything in your life falling apart at once to start bibliotherapy. Simply reading your favorite book after having a bad day at school, or after a fight with your friends, can all be carrying out bibliotherapy .
