In looking into the effects of social media usage on the levels of stress shown in individuals, I would like to measure your personal social media usage by scoring your answers to the questions that follow. Along with this I would like to ask that you record a resting pulse rate at the end of this survey when instructed to. To take your pulse you will need to sit comfortably, making sure you have not undertaken any strenuous physical activity within the last ten minutes. With your index and third finger, rest them on the opposite wrist in line with the bottom of your thumb. Set a timer for 30 seconds and count the beats you feel in your wrist. Multiply the number you count by 2 and record this final number at the end of the survey where indicated.
